These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Copper Oak Kitchen & Bath website (the "Website") and any estimates, proposals, or remodeling services (the "Services") we provide. By accessing the Website or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms.
Copper Oak Kitchen & Bath ("Copper Oak", "we", "our", or "us") provides residential interior remodeling services including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, mudrooms, laundry rooms, and related improvements throughout Illinois.
Your continued use of the Website or signature/acceptance of an estimate, proposal, or invoice constitutes acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use of the Website and not proceed with Services.
The scope is limited to items explicitly listed in the approved proposal. Items not listed are excluded. Structural, electrical, plumbing, or code compliance upgrades required by inspectors and not originally specified will be treated as change orders.
Any modification to approved scope, materials, or layout requires a written change order. Change orders may adjust price and schedule. Verbal requests are not binding until documented.
Projected timelines are estimates only. Delays may occur due to material availability, permitting, inspections, unforeseen conditions (e.g., rot, structural defects), weather, or third-party vendors. Copper Oak is not liable for consequential damages from delays.
Manufacturer lead times and availability may change. If a selected product is discontinued or delayed, we will recommend a comparable alternative for approval prior to substitution.
We provide a 5-year workmanship warranty on labor performed by Copper Oak. Manufacturer warranties apply to products and finishes. Warranty excludes misuse, normal wear, moisture intrusion from homeowner maintenance issues, or alterations by others.
The Website content (text, images, design elements) is owned or licensed by Copper Oak and may not be reproduced without permission. Unauthorized scraping, reverse engineering, or automated data extraction is prohibited.
Custom designs, drawings, renderings, or layouts produced prior to contract execution remain the intellectual property of Copper Oak unless otherwise assigned in writing.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Copper Oak’s total aggregate liability for claims arising from Services or Website use is limited to the amount paid to Copper Oak for the specific portion of work giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold Copper Oak harmless from claims arising from misuse of the Website, unsafe site conditions under your control, or unauthorized modifications after completion.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Venue for disputes shall lie in the appropriate state or federal courts within Illinois.
We may update these Terms periodically. Revisions are effective upon posting with an updated date. Continued Website use or project engagement after updates constitutes acceptance.
